Introduction This is a full-time paid internship for recent graduates or gap year students who want to dive into the real day-to-day of a working theatre. You’ll gain hands-on experience in marketing, logistics, administration, and live events, while being part of a small team that makes a big impact in the community.

A week in the life One day you might be editing a reel for social media, the next you’re welcoming audiences at the door, preparing materials for a kids’ camp, or helping to set up a show. You’ll pitch in with admin, support workshops, and lend a hand wherever it’s needed. It’s varied, energetic, and full of learning – and at the end of the week, you’ll see your efforts reflected in happy audiences and a thriving community.

What you’ll do Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Workshops

• Processing student registrations and orders on the website.
• Assisting with workshop-related spreadsheets and database updates.
• Assisting with customer communication and follow-ups.
• Supporting the setup, opening, and closing of classes.
• Ensuring students are never left unattended in classrooms.
• Ordering workshop materials and certificates.
• Delivering workshop announcements and collecting homework emails.
• Assisting with the creation and maintainance of WhatsApp groups for classes.
• Assisting with showcases, camps, and creative craft activities.

Artistic

• Supporting the Artistic Team with show operations and logistics.
• Learning and assisting with technical operations (lights, sound, and multimedia) for shows and showcases.
• Helping coordinate rehearsals, props, and backstage organization.
• Taking part in community events and assisting during performances.
• Assisting with the coordination of community volunteers
• Assisting with Community Volunteer Inductions
• Stage Management for Shows and Showcases
• Setting up the MA prior to shows and showcases
• Flagging low stock levels of batteries, bulbs or similar

Marketing

• Assisting the marketing team with social media content creation (TikToks, Reels, Stories, etc.).
• Supporting event coverage (photography/video) for internal and public-facing campaigns.

General Team Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the venue as required.
• Covering Front Desk duties when necessary.
• Front of House responsibilities during shows.
• Daily cash-up and accurate reporting.
• Attending and contributing to team meetings.
• Proofing marketing materials.
• Content capture for social media and promotional use.
• Reporting directly to the Leadership Team for all assigned responsibilities.
