About Us:

The Courtyard Playhouse is a dynamic and growing theatre and training centre in Dubai, known for its work in improvisation, corporate training, and community engagement. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Web Development & Digital Systems Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and technical work, taking ownership of our website while also supporting the wider team with essential digital systems.

Responsibilities:

Website Development:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company website to ensure a seamless and visually engaging user experience. This includes implementing and optimising website features and functionality, as well as staying up to date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve performance and usability.

Content Management:

You will take the lead on uploading and managing all website content, including events, blog posts, and multimedia materials, ensuring that everything is accurate, up to date, and aligned with the company’s brand and overall strategy.

Digital Systems & IT Support:

Alongside the website, you will support the team with day-to-day digital systems, including setting up and managing email accounts, updating email signatures, linking email aliases, creating website logins, and managing user access across platforms such as Asana. You will also assist with maintaining server access and handling basic server administration, ensuring all systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Autonomous Management:

You will work independently to troubleshoot and resolve website or system issues, taking proactive steps to improve functionality and user experience. You will also collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and implement updates where needed.

SEO & User Experience:

You will implement SEO best practices to improve the website’s visibility and performance, while also monitoring user experience and making data-informed improvements. Ensuring the site is responsive and performs well across all devices will be a key part of this role.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with proven experience in web development, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar technologies, and familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress. You should be comfortable managing multiple digital systems and providing basic IT support to a team. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential, along with a good understanding of SEO and digital best practices. Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach are also important.
