A week in the life of our FOH Coordinator

You’ll welcome walk-ins, run venue tours, and help guests choose the right class or workshop—so more people find their place here. You’ll manage WhatsApp, phone, email, and walk-in enquiries, keeping responses clear and timely while tracking leads and follow-ups. You’ll coordinate arrivals and check-ins for kids and adults, keeping sessions on time and the front-of-house consistently guest-ready. You’ll process payments and complete daily cash-up with accurate records that keep operations running smoothly. Between busy moments, you’ll capture simple photos/videos when needed and stay connected through weekly team meetings, socials, and wellness activities.

What you’ll do

  • Create a welcoming guest experience: You will greet visitors, coordinate class arrivals and check-ins, and keep the lobby/front desk consistently clean and guest-ready.
  • Turn interest into bookings: You will handle enquiries across WhatsApp, phone, email, social media, and walk-ins—guiding people to the right offering and recording leads with clear next steps.
  • Keep payments and records accurate: You will process cash and card payments on the POS, issue receipts, and support reliable daily cash-up and record keeping.
  • Keep daily operations running smoothly: You will support opening/closing routines, communicate updates with instructors and Management, and help sessions start on time with minimal disruption.
  • Support our brand in real moments: You will capture basic photos/videos (with consent where required) to share timely updates and support community engagement.

Your experience and skills

  • Front-of-house hosting in a busy venue (2+ years): You can run venue tours independently and coordinate arrivals/latecomers so classes start on time with minimal disruption.
  • Multi-channel communication: You can prioritise and respond across WhatsApp/phone/email, asking clarifying questions to recommend the right class and reduce back-and-forth.
  • Lead tracking and follow-up: You consistently update lead statuses and next actions, and follow up within agreed timeframes while documenting outcomes.
  • POS payments and daily cash handling: You reconcile cash drawer and POS totals during daily cash-up and keep an orderly record of transactions, refunds, and exceptions.
  • Venue standards + basic content capture: You maintain an on-brand, tidy FOH presentation and capture clear photos/videos when needed, checking consent requirements before filming or photographing guests.
